Night Bus to Oslo, and then in the morning (9am) flight to Dusseldorf, Germany. I found my hotel, Hotel an der Oper. And collected my opera ticket in the Opernshop. Everything was great except that I was tired. So I slept a bit in my hotel room. A room for 51 Euro (HRS-prize: www.hrs.de) was good enough, it had a bath-tube and toilet-paper of good enough quality and (wc was working, too) and good enough bed. Breakfast good enough. And close to the opera.
Dinner was taken at Pizzahut in Hauptbahnhof. And then finally CONCERT. Gala

Great Gala. Wonderful sung and acted from José Cura, Boris Statsenko and Therese Waldner. Chorus and orchestra conducted by Alexander Joel did well. The Finnish mezzo Laura Nykänen sang Rataplan, boring... only saved by the wonderful chorus.
